SELF-REGULATION AND MOTIVATION IN ONLINE LEARNING OF THE PORTUGUESE LANGUAGE
The present work presents an experience of the usage of b-learning methodologies, mediated through Moodle platform, in the teaching of Portuguese Language, within the third cycle of Basic Education.
This study was intended to evaluate to what extent the methodology chosen contributed to the acquisition of self-regulated learning strategies and identify to what extent this methodology stimulated motivation to learn.
Preliminary results show a broad set of positive aspects resulting from the methodology. The majority of students referred feeling motivated to learn and to have acquired self-regulation strategies. Students were of the opinion that this work methodology facilitated their learning process.
