NETWORK SOCIETY: CONTRIBUTIONS FOR EDUCATION
The actual Network Society is marked by a set of transformations at a cultural, technological, social and economical level. As expected, the Education does not escape to the change and a new paradigm, in which students and teachers assume new roles and responsibilities, can be observed. As a consequence, the Interactive Systems of Communication are determinant and an emergent use of e-Learning, b-Learning and m-Learning is progressively verified. Nowadays, Portugal is still below the expectations but through a set of sapient and urgent decisions the situation may be inverted.
