PRACTICE OF E-LEARNING IN A PROFESSIONAL COURSE OF THE AREA OF TOURISM

ABSTRACT

This research project focuses on a practice of e-Learning, based on a virtual environment of learning, applying the b-learning methodology (mixed system – traditional and distance) in a class of the Professional Course of the Area of Tourism, to help develop social, digital and thematic skills, which allow the students to learn at their own rhythm, any time, any place and anywhere.

To validate this case study, we proceeded to the revision of the legislation and official documentation, which allowed the lawful justification of the professional learning. We did a bibliographic revision about the integration of the technologies in the learning context and about the learning theories related to the e-learning process.

We approached the communities of on-line learning, like a virtual collaborative environment, where the students are different, but they have the same interests and objectives. In the classroom we developed digital skills in the software we worked with in the project.

To the implementation of distance learning, we worked essentially in the learning platform: Moodle through which the challenges were set, in the scope of the dimension of research, communication/interaction and contents.
