LEARNING, MOBILITY AND DIGITAL CONVERGENCE IN THE TRAINING ENVIRONMENT OF PORTUGAL TELECOM

ABSTRACT

With the high development of information and communication technologies they allowed to offer people knowledge through faster and more efficient ways such as training in e-learning.

The number of organizations focus on training in e-learning is growing, making it important to understand to what extent is that the method is effective and what kind of advantages it provides to the organization as well as their impact on human capital. So in order to ascertain how this situation is experienced in practice it was decided to carry out an internship at PT PRO from the Portugal Telecom Group.

For the construction of this report was necessary in addition to consulting and document analysis of internal archive and intranet, meetings held with the elements of the Training Management department where the training took place, aiming to give a more complete answer to the starting question that guides the stage: "What is the impact generated by the e-learning actions, its application and satisfaction of employees meet those in PT PRO" the method used in this study is the quantitative type and applied a questionnaire constructed for this purpose.

Given the results, we conclude that in PT PRO, employees are generally satisfied with the knowledge generated and foremost to the applicability itself in their job functions.
