ICTS AND TEACHER TRAINING
ABSTRACT
There is a worldwide tendency in improving the teaching and learning process in all levels, from primary education to university. This requires appropriate methods and means directing more attention to students’ roles. The present study is about the ITC and the teacher training, and is destined to make sure that teachers are trained with great attention to the new information technologies, as well as the implementations of this knowledge to their daily activities. It’s well known that ITC have conquered their space in modern society, and education is one of these using the technological resources more dynamically.
Despite ISCED teachers making use of computers and other technological resources, it is not so visible the frequent use of such resources in their daily activities. We want through the use of questionnaires and interviews, know what is behind the weak use of such resources by teachers, assist them in some resources with which they might work to diversify the teaching process, as well as, training teaching practice teachers concerning the use of digital technologies.
It’s still considered small the number of teachers who make with such involvement use of the ITs in the process of teaching, reveal the study, no matter the existence in the institution of an investigation and development center, directed to the development of investigating projects, training and capacitation of new methodologies and techniques in the use of these technologies as teaching resources.
