E-LEARNING MEETINGS, CONFRONTES AND POSSIBILITIES IN PERMANENT HEALTH EDUCATION IN ALAGOAS

ABSTRACT

This study aims to evaluate e-Learning as a strategy to promote the Permanent Education in Health (EPS) in Alagoas. Placing e-Learning in the EPS strategy means understanding it as a trigger for integrating subjects through the formation of health education virtual networks. These networks establish new forms of interaction and extrapolate physical and temporal distances, creating a new learning environment in which knowledge is collectively constructed (Paim & Guimarães, 2009, p.97). This is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach, developed with students from the “EPS em Movimento” program. The questionnaire survey was the data collection method chosen, and the instrument built by Amorim (2013, p.94) approved by the Ethics and Research Committee of the Federal University of São Paulo – Plataforma Brasil with the Opinion Number 38309 of 06/18/2012. In view of the results obtained and its analysis, it becomes evident the effectiveness of the objectives proposed initially in this investigation. Thus, it is believed that this work can serve as a contribution to the implementation of EPS strategies in the e-Learning modality. In this study, many factors related to the “EPS em Movimento” program in the territory of Alagoas were analyzed. Therefore, it is presented here relevant information regarding the efficiency, efficacy and effectiveness of the cited program for the professionals' work, for the work processes in health, as well as the profile and level of acceptance of the participants of the educational event.
