COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICE AND LEARNING IN VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT: PROPOSAL BASED IN THE INTERACTION AND COLLABORATION IN ANESTHESIOLOGY MEDICAL RESIDENCY PROGRAM
ABSTRACT
This research aims to analyze the possibility of interaction and collaboration through a virtual platform in b-learning mode, with the aim of enhancing the learning of graduate students in anesthesiology.
The methodological framework had a mixed character, based on a qualitative approach, and analysis of quantitative data. The data collection instruments were: bibliographic review, specialized web page searches, structured questionnaires, and quantitative data from official repositories.
At the end of the study it was evidenced by the report of the research subjects, who were familiar with the technologies, and already used the internet for research during graduation, presenting difficulties for the handling of technologies only in the initial stages of the project. Despite being digital natives, most of the sample showed preference for face-to-face classes complemented by online research. In the records obtained, a certain insecurity was expressed in expressing opinions among colleagues in the profession, but they agree that the method helped to increase the knowledge. In the study, students expressed a greater need for interaction on the part of the teachers for a greater sharing of experiences, and that the subjects treated in the virtual platform are in agreement with the programming of the classroom lessons. According to the literature, the results showed that the flexibility of access to the platform in time and space was one of the positive characteristics of the method. The opinions expressed by the students demonstrated that the collaborative method of sharing information through a community of virtual practice and learning proved valid as part of the curriculum of the specialization in anesthesiology.
