THE TEACHING FORMATION FOR USE OF THE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY IN FORTALEZA, BRAZIL
This study has the aims of analyzing the teacher’s formation and the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) mainly in the teaching practices developed with the use of computers in a public school of Fortaleza. It pretends to identify the needs of the teaching program concerning the ICT and the difficulties about the application of such practices in the school context.
Starting with the importance of teacher´s training with implications in the didactic, political and techno scientific aspects, this work tries to focus specifically to the practical aspects, by paying attention to the operational activity of the tutors, because it has a great importance when used properly in whatever sector of activity.
An investigative search to describe how teacher´s use computers in the classroom, with a direct observation for providing the research on the ground. During the investigation development, was applied inquires to the teachers, and interviews to the managers in order to investigate the aspects required in the target of this study.
Finally, the results of the data analysis and the evidences of some development of the teaching practices by the use of computers in a public school, provides a clear reading that is necessary urgently to innovate and update new educational methods, using the new generation technological tools, and to expend the use of the ICT in the educational system, creating new ways of teaching by the use of computers that in the modern society is no longer a luxury but a symbol of integration and fast update information in the modern society.
